An incredibly useful feature in Photoshop, is the Image Processor as this feature allows you to automatically output multiple copies of an image in different formats. Ben Long has written Get Better Output With Photoshop’s Automate And Scripts Menus, which walks you through automating Photoshop.

This tutorial shows you how to make a simple rollover button in Photoshop.

Tommy Maloney in Top 7 Photoshop Keyboard Shortcuts for Productivity highlights his most used Photoshop keyboard shortcuts. This is ideal beginners tutorial.


Photoshop and Illustrator Tutorials and Brushes

Matt Davies has posted a tutorial on how to use The Twirl Tool Create Quality Twirls in 3 Steps using Illustrator.

Bittbox has a new Illustrator tutorial online too. Rock-Solid Alignment using Anchor Points It is a good tutorial as I have always used the “Smart Guides” feature to snap objects together.

Bittbox also has another brush making tip in Illustrator using Colorization

Design fruit also has some great  free foliage brushes for Photoshop

Obsidian Dawn has released a set of Special Effects Photoshop brushes as they are made up of various special effects which make them look different as you paint or draw with them. Effects include grungy type effects, overlapping circles, glowing dots, splotches, glitters, etc.
