RMIT island

June 13, 2007

RMIT university now has a presence in Second Life. Students from the School of Architecture and Design have created RMIT island. At this stage RMIT sees the island as a creative space for students to learn in.

I think their assessments must be soon as here was a lot of feverish activity when I paid a visit and some extremely interesting buildings. It was both fun and interesting to encounter creative architecture in Second life. By creative architecture I mean buildings that take full advantage of what Second life has to offer.
