Group gift is out and new stuff to see

I just put out this months free  group gift which I hope people will enjoy. It is at the landing point at the Old Mill. It is in my picks just search for me (Teal Etzel)  under the people tab.

Also I have gone through a phase of making wrought iron outdoor furniture and sets are on offer near the landing point. They are Copy, Mod, No Trans.

The place has also had a bit of tidy up in the process odd bits and pieces have found their way out of my inventory and on display some of which are lanterns! How I managed to make so many lanterns and pot plant I will never know. I think I just like seeing how textures will behave on an object and as a result I end up with varieties of things. I do cull them but they still accumulate.

The Ruin at Gyaros

I thought I would share a little of what has been keeping me busy. I now have 2 regions covered in gardens for people to explore and enjoy and like all gardens they are always changing and developing. These are the ruins at Gyaros

On Gyaros you will find about 30 new types of sculpty trees and about 80 new different types of fields of flowers and grasses. These are single prim and ideal to fill meadows and forest glades. They can all be copied so you can be generous with them. Since spring is in the air they quickly add low prim colour to any area.

If you take a wander around the region you will see lots of new plants. Prices start at 50 izzies and are copy and mod, no trans making them very good value

Both Mile and Gyaros are part of mainland 2 and I have joined the InWorldz mainland Chart aka “the Cyprus Chart”. The aim is to keep the place pleasant for sailors as well as for flyers.

Simply put, those mainland regions that have agreed allow free passage of boats, submarines, hot air or powered flying machines, etc land options are set to Object Entry on for all residents and they can run scripts. Obstacles such as off-sim decor that would hinder passage in Iz Straights, or skyboxes under 500 meters are not allowed. Also some regions have a rezz zone so that sailors and aviators can recover from a crash and allow them to re-rezz a vehicle  to continue their journey.

There is also a rezz area on the beach for anyone using the izzie straights that border both regions.

Water Wells half price for one week

I have been enjoying myself making water wells.

These new releases are out at half price for one week. At 90 izzies they a are a bargain. Included is a few weedy looking plants that you can dot around. They are Copy, no mod, no transfer.

You will find them  in the patio area of the Old Mill Garden Gallery.

After 7 days I will put them out in the gardens somewhere at full price.

Work in Progress report

Time for a work in progress update! I have been a very busy little vegemite (just gave away the nationality with that expression) and thought I would share some photos of what I have been up to.
I was feeling a bit dissatisfied with Mille, so a month or so ago I decided to do some major renovations and additions. One thing lead to another and a fairly major re-build has been underway.
The Mill building has been softened with Wisteria that has made its way up the walls and to a trellis on the second floor. I added things like sculpt windows, shutters and window flower boxes. The courtyard had been divided and I have display room in the courtyard.

The gallery spaces have been expanded which allows for better viewing and I bow have room for more Objet d’art. The space also has a more airy feel.

In the last month lots of other places and things in the region has be either been rebuilt, added too or totally changed.
The Roman Ruin area has had a total re-vamp and every visitor I have had to place has liked it. I like the tone of the mood too so added a picnic rug and some pose balls for people to lounge around and chat.
I added another waterway which tumbles down the hill side to become a waterfall that rushes into the roman Ruin.

The fun news is that I have also built a small maze which is situated next to the Mill.

Also to be hunted for, discovered and explored is a  grotto  with caves and underground passageways.
